There's an article in today's Sunday Telegraph in Sydney, where PG is
interviewed. Main items of interest are ;

 - PG says it's "disconcerting to discover a lot of Aussie bands are no
longer touring". A touch ironic given recent events, but i'm sure he means
the US, because he talks about how "anxious & fragile" people have been
since 9/11.

- The Oils might be doing a concert in Tibet early next year to raise money
for an educational program over there, as well as contributing a track to an
benefit album which will also include songs by George Harrsion, Fleetwood
Mac & Zucchero.

- PG says he is bouyed by his role with the ACF and is pleased that the
Jabiluka mine isn't going ahead.

- Also says that the current run of gigs are "the loosest, funkiest & most
de-constructed sets of our career. Anything can & will happen"

He doesn't shed any light on the European cancellation unfortunately.

There's also an accompanying picture of the Oils waiting at a bus stop with
an elderly man & woman, who are each holding a dog ! (Jeff - i'll scan &
send to you to add to your Oil pics website)

cheers,

vince
